Babies are born with a natural gift for languages and a love of being talked and sung to. From birth, they have an intuitive ability to distinguish speech sounds from around the world and can recognise different rhythms and language patterns.

Research suggests that children who have the opportunity to be surrounded by the sounds of other languages in very early childhood retain the ability to recognise and recreate those sounds into adulthood.

Established in 2008 and unique in Scotland, lingobaby's award-winning sessions offer very young children from birth - 5 years a happy, stimulating and structured foreign language experience in French, German Spanish, Italian and Polish* through songs, games, stories and play.
