lingobaby explore is a very gentle introduction to the sounds and melodies of a new language. During the 45 minutes session, you and your baby will experience a selection of gentle sensory, signing and musical activities followed by freeplay time with traditional and bilingual toys. lingobaby explore offers a first stepping stone into the structured lingobaby play sessions and can accomodate up to 8 babies.

As your baby grows, lingobaby play allows you and your little one to discover the joy of a new language through age-appropriate games, songs, stories and sensory activities culminating in a free play period with a large selection of bilingual toys. As part of each session a healthy snack and drink is available for each child (where appropriate within this age group), further encourging early social skills. lingobaby play sessions can accomodate up to 10 children.

As your child start to toddle, lingobaby club  offers an exciting French experience through puppets, props, singing, dancing, games, stories and craft. Join Louis, the very shy puppet and his friendly puppy Toto for an action-packed hour. As part of each session a healthy snack and drink is available for each child which is served in the playroom around small tables, further strengthening early social skills. The lingobaby club has no more than 12 children per session.

Pre-school children are catered for through lingobricolage. Packing in all the fun of the club sessions, lingobricolage extends the pace and challenge for children who may be learning to count and recognise written words. Craft activities play a large part of the bricolage sessions with a new craft project completed every week. As part of each session a healthy snack-lunch and drink is available for each child served within the playroom around small tables. lingobricolage can accomodate up to 10 children.

lingobaby storytime gives a gentle French experience through well-loved tales including The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Dear Zoo and The Gruffalo. Young customers in Borders and Waterstones have enjoyed lingobaby story time  in addition to the storytime sessions included within the lingobaby club  block of classes.

The lingobaby library runs each week allowing children to borrow simple French or bilingual story books to enjoy at home after each lingobaby session. Reading to and with your child can lay the foundations for a lifelong love of books.






All lingobaby sessions are suitable for delivery in a nursery/playgroup/library environment and can be tailored to complement exisiting curricular themes.
